1 janv. 1839 - Photography "Was Born" with the Daguerreotype
Invented by Louis Daguerre in 1839
Description:
Joseph Nicephore Niepce's understudy, Louis Daguerre, took Niepce's idea and geared this towards public use. Images could be taken more conveniently than ever before. The only set back was that a darkroom always needed to be used, and there were long exposure times, where people needed to sit still for minutes at a time!
