Description:
The Colonists believed that the Tea act went against their American Ideologies. So in an effort to protest the act, a group of Colonists dressed as Mohawk Indians and dumped tea from a ship into Boston Harbor. Contrary to popular belief, they were not wildly throwing tea overboard as depicted in the picture above.
