Description:
The government passed the Factory Act in 1833 this was to try to improve the working conditions for children.
Under the law children under 9 couldn't work.
There must be an age certificate for children.
Children 9-13 work no more than 9 hours
Children 13-18 work no more than 13 hours
Children can't work at night
Two hours of schooling for children each day
