Description:

After Dr. Siddiqui disappeared, her mother Ismet Siddiqui flew to the US and was detained for four hours by the FBI, NYPD, Homeland Security. Then she was served with a subpoena to testify before a grand jury.

Ex-husband alleges that, in August 2003, Dr. Aafia's mother in a sworn affidavit to the Pakistan family court stated that Aafia and her children were in the custody of the FBI.

Imran Khan is contacted by Dr. Aafia's family and agrees to do a joint press conference. However, the family is threatened by ISI and backs out.
