Following Hanmin's oppressive dictatorship style, the Kuomintang had been on a conclusive resurgence.The Republican Security Decree of 1934 effectively bans other parties than the Self-Strengthening Movement, as political party activity started to require state permits that the fascist SSM would not grant to anyone else.
