WASHINGTON, March 17. — Congress was electrified to-day by the sudden elimination of the railroad bond feature the Aldrich Currency bill, and later by bitter attack on the measure by Senator La Follette, in which he charged that it was the legislation most desired by the comparatively small clique which has succeeded in dominating the finances of the country.
