1 janv. 970 av. J.-C. - King David Dies
Description:
David reigned for forty years. His reign started in approximately 1010 B.C.E. and ended 40 years later when he died in 970 B.C.E.. He was the second king of Israel and he faced a lot of difficulty. He insured the peace during Shlomo’s reign by being at war for most of his reign. His Son Shlomo was the king after David died. David asked Shlomo to do him a few favors when he was on his deathbed. He told Shlomo to kill Joab and Shimei ben Gera and to be nice to Barzilai the Gileadite. God loved David and ensured that his descendants would keep the throne.
