Description:

The Stamp Act stated that all American Colonists are required to pay a tax on every piece of printed paper. It also imposed new taxes on them. Legal documents, licenses, newspapers, other publications, and even playing cards were taxed.

Just like with the Sugar Act, the Colonists didn't like or want the taxes and restrictions. Their anger is continuing to build as the British add more and more laws and restructions.
