1 janv. 1942 - Modern Synthesis
Description:
Julian Huxley conceptualized a wide synthesis of many sciences: genetics, developmental physiology, ecology, systematics, paleontology, cytology, and mathematical analysis of biology. He theorized that the evolutionary process would proceed differently in different groups of organisms in accordance to the organization of their genetic material and reproductive strategies which would result in a progressive variation of evolutionary trends.
