Amber Heard made an appearance on the James Corden show. The show was recorded and broadcast the next day.Amber Heard alleged that she had two black eyes, a spilt lip and had clumps of hair missing.
The show was recorded during the afternoon of 16 December 2015. Amber Heard had texted Nurse Erin to say she thought she would be home by 18:30pm. As hair and make-up had been done at the ECB between 14:00 pm and 16:00pm before leaving for the TV studio it is assumed Amber Heard was away from home for approximately 2- 2.5 hours.
From Amber Heard's London Witness Statements:
144. I was supposed to be appearing as a guest on “The Late Late Show” hosted by James
Corden, the next day. My face was all bruised and I was very shaken up and upset, so
I texted my publicist Jodi Gottlieb just before midnight that night saying I might not be
able to make it, that I was bruised and might have one or two black eyes, and I would
have to see how things were looking in the morning. I pretended that I had had an
accident. I didn’t want to tell her what had happened to me. I exhibit a copy of our text
exchange at AH 1 page 33.
145. That night and the next day were really hard. I ended up deciding to do the show
because I didn’t think I could cancel at the last minute. I remember being in pain and
had some difficulty getting ready. I remember they put a lot of makeup on me to cover
the bruises and I wore red lipstick to properly cover up my bleeding lip. I remember it
hurt when they did my hair. I was really upset all day. But I just got on with it and did my
job.
