1 sept. 1905 - Alberta, Saskatchewan now Provinces

Description:

Not the last, nor first, provinces to be added to Canada after its unionization, but still important to it's growth nonetheless.

The land that these provinces now inhabit was previously Northwest Territory, which, back then, would take up the majority of Canada.

These two provinces were initially going to be one, named buffalo, as suggested by Sir Frederick, but the prime minister of Canada at the time, Sir Wilfrid Laurier, thought that would be giving to much power to Canada west, and split buffalo into two, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
