Description:
Recognized as the first Major battle of the War of 1812, it is also one of the most famous battles of the war.
This specific battle was fought over territory surrounding Niagara Falls.
It was a great victory for the British, as, despite the Americans numbers, the British managed to halt their invasion before they could really reach their destination.
This battle resulted death of General Isaac Brock and Colonel MacDonnell, which led led the British troops to be in low spirits following, as they were both very important figures in British/Canadian military
