Description:
The Intolerable Acts was passed by King George III as a punishment for the Boston Tea party. The new laws were the Boston port was closed, any British soldier who was arrested would be sent to England for their trial, town meetings were no longer allowed without government permission and Colonists had to quarter British soldiers.
