Description:

Fabian Gottlieb von Bellingshausen was the first person to discover Antarctica. He discovered it on the 27th of January 1820. He and Mikhail Lazarev discovered an Ice Shelf at Princess Martha Coast later known as the Fimbul Ice Shelf.
