Description:

Albert C. Koch presents the assemblage of a gigantic chimaera of bones, collected mostly in Alabama, into the “sea serpent” Hydrarchos (aka Hydrargos), which probably included elements of the species now known as Basilosaurus cetoides, Cynthiacetus maxwelli, and Zygorhiza kochii.
