23 sept. 2010 - During 2010, Lamar went on a tour with Jay Rock and Tech N9ne on The Independent Grind Tour. On September 23, Lamar released Overly Dedicated through Top Dawg Entertainment. The project did well enough to enter the Billboard Top R & B / Hip-Hop Albums charts, where it peaked at # 72. The mixtape contained a song called "Ignorance Is Bliss", where Lamar highlights gangster gangs and street crime. This particular song made legendary hip-hop producer Dr. Dre want to work alongside Lamar after seeing the music
