This was a speech delivere by Booker T Washignton regarding race relations. He asserted that vocational education for African Americans was a vital step to economic security. He believed that economic equality would be the stepping stone to social and politiacal equality. Some people did not agree with his philosophies because they did not that he was accomodating inequaity.
