6 juill. 1879 - Exoduster movement leaves the South for the Great Plains

Description:

The Exodusters were a group African Americans that were trying to escape discrimination from the South. Their journey mimicked a similar group from Egypt that tried to go to the Promised Land. Once in the Great Plains though, fewer than 20 percent were able to be successful.
