1 juill. 1243 av. J.-C. - Heracles Frees Prometheus

Description:

Drawn to the Caucasus Mountains, Heracles leaves Themiscrya and heads east. He travels through Colchis, where he dines with King Perses, before following the eagle to Prometheus, chained high on the mountain's peak. Heracles shoots and kills the eagle that tortured Prometheus (which was his punishment by Zeus for stealing fire from the gods and giving it to mortals). Heracles freed the Titan from his chains and his torments. Prometheus then made predictions regarding further deeds of Heracles.
