Description:
The 14th amendment defines US citizenship as “All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.” They later wrote and also greatly expanded the civil and legal rights of all American citizens by protecting them from infringement by testes and federal governments.
