The First Triumvirate was an alliance formed by Gaius Julius Caesar, Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus, and Marcus Licinius Crassus in Rome. This all was fueled by Pompey getting married to Julius Ceaser's daughter. The impact of this was that Caesar was elected as consul and the Senate would be reformed.
