Description:

The Zadneprovsky Division was the cornerstone of the Red Army (RKKA) in the spring of
1919. It was commanded by the Bolshevik ex-sailor Pavel Dybenko. As the result of agree
ments concluded in February, 1919, it included the brigades of the Ukrainian atamans
Makhno and Grigoryev.
