Description:

Dr. Montessori returns to school to study anthropology and psychology, and 3 years later becomes an anthropology professor. She will use her knowledge of these subjects to develop a well-rounded and intentional method of teaching. She develops her own theory of childhood comprised of Four Planes of Development focused on achieving different kinds of independence: physical, mental, social, and finally moral.
