Description:
Maria Montessori is the first woman to graduate from her college with a degree in medicine, and becomes one of the first female doctors in Italy. While studying to become a physician, she experiences sexism that requires her to work harder and more creatively than her classmates. She is forced to conduct her dissections in the morgue by herself, and begins to feel discouraged. However, she sees a child on the street completely absorbed in examining a bright red slip of paper.
