Description:
Texas went to war with Mexico in an attempt to become an independent state. They won but were always under the threat of being invaded by Mexico, so the independent state voluntarily asked to join the US. Almost immediately after they did the US and Mexico went to war over where the border of Texas actually was. This gave the US the land of Texas.Ajouté au bande de temps:
