1 janv. 400 - Greek atom
Description:
An ancient greek philosopher, Democritus, introduced the idea of atoms in 400BC meaning no one before him had talked about the so called atom. He believed that atoms are tiny solid particles that are not "cuttable" and that they move around randomly through empty space. No experiments were done to lead him to his conclusion, however, it was more or less a guess or opinion of the topic. He called the now atoms, atomos which is the greek word for indivisible.
