Description:
- sponsored by Diputazion Provincial (islands token advisory council to the governor)- Dr Antonio Sierra y carbo (from madrid) and Dr Elias Herreros (mil phys) as director and deputy directory
- Responsible for producing and maintaining constant supply of fresh vaccine by successive inoculations
- Not super successful (inefficient, hostility from locals, infrequent arm to arm vaccination in towns)
