1 janv. 1650 - Religious Toleration (1650)
Description:
After the wars of religion there was an idea that there could be a settlement between religions and this was seen perfectly in the Dutch around this time. They favored having peace over war and allowed many religions, even Jews, to coexist during this time. However, it should still be remembered that Calvinists were given the most rights. (Palmer, 150)
