British foreign minister, Arthur Belfour.letter in which he envisaged the recognition of Palestine as a national homeland for the jew.
This letter made during WW1 was to encourage Jewish businessmen in America to support Wilson's call for war loans.
It is also a sign of the growing influence of zionistsooé
