1 mai 1924 - Stalin's Rise to Power
Description:
After Lenin's death, Lenin's will warned the consequences of having Stalin in power and clearly showed that he favored Trotsky to take over the Soviets. Stalin, being backed by Lev Kamenev and Grigory Zinoviev, would keep the will from being released to the public and keep the will from being read out to the public. This allowed Stalin to slowly remove opposing party powers and ensure that he would control the Soviet Union.
