The 104th U.S. Congress was a meeting of the U.S. federal government's legislative branch. It met in Washington, DC from January 3, 1995 to January 3, 1997, during the third and fourth years of Bill Clinton's presidency. The result of these was the Federal government shutdown of 1995 and 1996.
