Description:

The ritual to save King Jorunn commences
______________________________________________

Upon entering the ritual grounds, Gondul find Prince Irnskar scolding one of the Ternion priests that if his father does not awken, the monks will suffer.

The man was High Priest Esling, the head priest of the Ternion Monks. Gondul addressed him as the Prince stepped away. The man understood Prince Irnskar's concern, explaining that the monks didn't usually work with Daedric magic. He promised that he monks could keep the King alive, but that the Dreamwalker Stormy-Eyes was the only hope of awakening him.

Gondul asked what he may do to help, the High Priest asking him to Pray at the totem's of the Three Old Gods. Gondul was happy to oblige, especially as he understood the faith better than most other outsiders present, as it was descended from the Atmoran Pantheon.

Stormy-Eyes stepped forward and began the ritual on the King, promptly disappearing into the mans' dreams.

Gondul swiftly made his way to each of the Totems, praying before each of them and hearing the description of King Jorunn's dreams by an apparition of Stormy-Eyes.

A sudden scream from King Jorunn brought all present to rush to his body. High Priest Esling explained that his dream was leaving his body and manifesting in reality due to his strong resistance. He solemnly admitted the King was going to die.

Gondul refused to give up, but the High Priest further explained Stormy-Eyes was likely injured from the blast of magic, and he was their only hope. Gondul proceeded to volunteer to enter the King's dreams in a last-ditched attempt to save him.

Although stunned by the offer, the High Priest accepted Gondul's offer and was willing to help him enter the Dreamstride.
