Description:
This Act requires the United States federal government to investigate and pursue trusts, companies, and organizations suspected of violating the regulations it has establishes. The purpose of the Act was to stop trusts from joining together to form monopoly with could potentially harm the competition. This gives the federal government the power to regulate privately owned businesses when these businesses are raising their prices die to the restriction of trade or supply.
