Period where UK and EU will negotiate and reach an agreement on terms of their future relationship set out in the Political Declaration.The Political Declaration is a non-binding statement which sets out the agreed intentions for the future economic and security partnership between the UK and EU. Transition period lasts until 31st December 2020.
