Boykin, friend and bodyguard of professional skateboarder Rob Dyrdek, was best known for his MTV reality show with Dyrdek that premiered in 2006. Boykin starred alongside Dyrdek for three seasons, filming their adventures, including breaking Guinness world records and installing an ATM. Following the birth of his daughter two years later, Boykin moved out, and the show ended. Later, Boykin appeared in Dyrdek's spin-off Fantasy Factory, as well as Dydrek's comedy show Ridiculousness.
