fifteen-year-old Annie Moore of Ireland was the first immigrant to pass through Ellis Island. More than 12 million steerage and third class passengers followed in her wake. The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Foundation opened the American Family Immigration History Center at Ellis Island in 2001 which contains a database of copied manifests for Ellis Island and the Port of New York between 1892 and 1924.Ajouté au bande de temps:
