Last week’s Raw rating (unopposed by Nitro) did a 4.7 rating, which makes it the 2nd largest audience to ever see a pro wrestling show on cable TV (only trailing behind the 1988 Royal Rumble that aired on USA). The previous record rating for Raw was 3.9 so this rating is almost a full point higher than the previous record. There’s no doubt that Ultimate Warrior’s TV return is what primarily led to this monster rating.
