1 janv. 1785 - Antoine Lovoisier
Description:
Lavoisier was a French physicist who lived from 1743-1794. He discovered the Law of Conservation of Mass, which states that matter can neither be created nor destroyed. He discovered this through several experiments. In one experiment, he recorded the mass of a sealed jar of mercury. After heating the mercury, which formed a new rust-colored product, he discovered the total mass had not changed.
