Description:
*One of the compromises from the Constitutional Convention was the three-fifths compromise.* This compromise meant that slaves were only allowed as three-fifths of a white man. they did this to determine how slaves would be represented in taxation and congressional representation. Another big part of this compromise was that congress allowed the importation of slaves all the way up until 1808. Key Concept 3.2, II.
