Description:

The Company was set up by Puritan merchants based in London. "It was involved with trade and the since sugar was a big cash crop and a necessity, they would have traded with places like the Caribbean for sugar." The company received a charter for a colony to be set up in the New World. This then led way to the Great Migration which was an increase of people coming to the New World. The company was ruled by the "godly" and that the voting rights were limited to only landowning white males.
