Description:

Jeremiah 36/23 records Jehudi reading the scroll of appeal and warning by Yahweh through Jeremiah that if Judah continued in its error, let by her King, then Yahweh would certainly bring Nebuchadnezzar down to sack the city.
Yahweh had Jeremiah re-write the scroll and confirm the fact that because the King had shown no remorse (v24), then "the King of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land" and Jehoiakim would suffer a violent death. v30
