1 janv. 400 av. J.-C. - Democritus's Atomic Model
[pic 1]
Description:
Democritus said that matter consists of particles that are invisible called atoms. He said atoms were uncuttable and come in different shapes and sizes. He came up with these claims based on what he saw in his daily life and thought that atoms were specific to the material they made up. His studies were important because he invented the phrase atom and he laid the groundwork for future studies.
