(1300-1500): Christian Humanism was an idea that stressed the capabilities of man and strayed away from worrying about the afterlife and more about making life better, yet still having God in their religion and practicing the Christian faith. Petrarch is known as the father of humanism and it spread throughout all of Europe after starting in Florence, Italy. It started due to Renaissance new ideas and change, and effected European thinking forever.
