Joan of Arc was a 16-year-old girl who claimed that God had sent her to France to help save and lead the French Army. She headed many battles during the Siege of Orleans, and was injured on May 7 by an arrow, but then quickly returned to the fight. On May 8, the English fleed from Orleans.
