Description:
Miranda was arrested for links to the kidnapping and rape of a young woman. After 2 hours of interrogation he wrote a confession. He later appealed, stating he didn't know his rights so his confession should be inadmissible. The Supreme Court agreed, ruling anyone arrested should be read their rights
