Description:
This peace treaty was signed by France and Britain to end the fighting between them, which had become pointless. The terms of the treaty returned most of the French colonies that were lost overseas, but they agreed to return the Papal territories in Italy to the Pope, and Egypt to the Ottomans. Britain retained the territories of Ceylon
