The first from of internet was created in the late 1960's with the first wireless message sent from computer to computer on October 6th, 1969. The internet continued to improve when the Transmitting Control Protocol and Internet Protocol or TCP/IP was developed. From there, the "network of networks" was worked on by researchers and eventually became our modern internet. In 1990, Tim Berners-Lee invented a way for the internet to be accessed worldwide thought websites and hyperlinks. This helped the internet become more popular among the public and became known as the web. Four years later, the first major web browser called Mosaic was released.
