Around 1:50 p.m., a deputy on patrol saw what was believed to be murder victim Handy's truck and tried to pull it over. The driver didn't stop and deputies chased it, ultimately through the Lowe's parking lot, where it hopped the curb and crashed into another truck at the shopping center entrance. Deputies approached Christopher Joel Mock, and they shot and killed Mock in a reported exchange of gunfire.
