Description:
The Normans built a stone church to replace an existing Saxon structure. Sacked by the French in the 100 Years War (14th century). Mostly destroyed by fire in 1599 and rebuilt on a smaller scale. The tower though is still from the original Norman church.http://www.kentpast.co.uk/kenardington.html
