1529 The Church of England Split
The Church of England, or the Anglican church, was created by the King of England Henry VIII. Henry wanted to have his marriage to Catherine of Aragon annulled, but the Pope would not. So, Henry the VIII separated England from the Roman Catholic Church and created the Church of England. Anglasim kept many Roman Catholic customs, adopted many protestant customs, and today is one of the most progreasive Christan denominations sects.
